I am about to launch and ambitious project that is uses both the internet (IE: web site) and, a hard copy magazine that will eventually be sold in stores.
As a hard copy publisher for nearly 20 years now, I've come to the realization that no magazine can stand alone without a website. And given the saturation levels of internet users in the US and in many other countries, having a web pressence is crucial.
The project will utilize both hard copy and internet.
Though as a publisher in hard copy, I haven't got the skills necessary to make certain web site configurations/modifications, and am asking for your help with this.
While the budget is small at this time, those programmers who show an understanding of the projects mission and goals, and can help produce an internet presence that exemplifies those goals will be compensated accordingly, AND those persons will earn nominal shares in the enterprise.
This is a 'fun project' for sure. Also, it will attempt to fill a huge hole in the marketplace by providing a particular service that no one else is providing right now, especially at the scope that this project looks to exploit.
The be more specific, the project will employ video on the web site.
Are there any knowledgeble hobbiests out there that would like to take a chance and contribute on an adventure that I believe is something that has every bit the chance on becoming the next media superstar, unlike anything already out there.
