I am trying to create a video gallery within a membership site - I am wanting a youtube like interface where the one window plays the video while you can scroll thru the others that are listed - i want to be able to do this from my own ftp where my videos are uploaded - i read thru and understood vpip to be this one but once installed it is much harder to use than i thought - also watching the tutorials i do not see all the options that were shown - i am using wp 2.7 and the most current vpip version that i downloaded here - Can anyone tell me if this will work like think or if not point me in the directoin of what i need?

Wordpress isn't really suited for this kind of thing. You probably want to do it with Drupal. Here's a link to one Drupal/YouTube solution I found http://drupal.org/project/flashvideo
