Just tried to sign up via email to all forum items (so I can keep up), and it's broken. Who set this up with RSSFWD? Can you take a look?

Yeah, RSSFWD went down and doesn't seem to be coming back up. We need to probably update and clean up this forum. We haven't done any admin work since we set it up last year. I wonder if bbPress has improved since then.
We have a hackathon happening next month, so maybe we can juggle it then unless someone wants access to it now.
For instance, I'd love to be able to see what posts are new since I last logged in.

This topic is also relevant because I am thinking about setting up forums on my website.
So, other than this RSSFWD problem, is bbPress a good way to go for adding forums?
I look forward to learning more about what you all do at that "hackathon."

I just signed in to the admin section of the forum. We've got over 1800 users, most of them are probably spam accounts. I was surprised to see that there is no way to bulk-edit or bulk-delete users. To get rid of the spammers we have to delete them one at a time.
I scanned the list of available bbpress plugins and didn't see one that would let you bulk-delete. So I'd say that alone is reason to look for a different forum solution other than bbpress. I know I don't have time to delete that many users one at a time. Ugh.
